Seine Freihand-Illustrationen sind teils sensible, teils expressiv-satirische Interpretationen. Als Infografiker stellt er Bewegungsablaeufe, Landkarten, Stadtplaene und technische Geraete präzise dar. Seine Kunden sind vorwiegend Zeitschriften und Buchverlage, aber auch Werbeagenturen. Illustration, fine art prints, vector graphics, informational graphics. Thomas Escher uses traditional artistic media - linocut, pen and ink, watercolor, scratchboard - as well as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. As an illustrator, he makes both subtle and satirical statements. In his vector graphics, he precisely draws moving figures, technical instruments and maps. Clients are primarily in the field of editorial illustration, but also in advertising.
